Pa Saikou Kujabi’s Hibernian beat Kilmarnock 2-1 but team captain James McPake says more changes are required at Hibernian to help improve the club’s fortunes.
The Edinburgh club’s captain who is part of six defenders of the club including The Gambia’s Kujabi said on BBC that, despite starting the season well, there is still a lot of work to be done.
“We are all battling for one another,” McPake told BBC Scotland after their 2-1 win over Kilmarnock.
“We are far from being a good Hibs team, but give the manager time and we will be.”
McPake joined the club in January, initially on loan from Coventry City before making the move permanent in the summer.
Hibs is second at 11 points a single point behind Motherwell. They will face Inverness Caledonian Thistle at home over the weekend.
