Oxford FC opened the scores through Sainey Bojang in the 55th minute of the game from a superb header to give his side the lead, which eventually proved to be the winner for them.
Lamin Bojang could have doubled Oxford FC’s lead in the 67th minute of the game but his effort was denied by the woodwork.
Sainey Bojang again could have doubled Oxford FC’s advantage in the 70th minute of the game from a penalty after Lawrence Mendy brought him down inside the eighteen, but the penalty was saved by Dara Gi net-minder Lasana Dukuray thus the game ended 1-0 in favour of Oxford FC.
Oxford are now through to the next round of the 2016 Serrekunda East Nawettan qualifiers and Dara Gi are out.
