Jane Joof, head coach of Samger, has said his target is to maintain his side’s position at the top of the table as the academy boys are currently heading the Gambia Football Association League table.
“I am optimistic that the team will certainly maintain our winning spirit as the league games progress. We are blessed with brilliant and experienced players who are ready to accomplish this mission,” he stated.
Coach Joof is impressed with the performance of his team as they beat Bakau United 1-0 to secure top spot in the league, on Tuesday
The academy side are preparing ahead of their Week 5 fixtures against Real De Banjul on Saturday with 7 points in four games in their name.
