A grade three student of Bakoteh Annex Lower Basic School, Yaya Jallow, who is an orphan is in dire need of assistance to enable him continue his education.

Yaya Jallow, who lost his biological father last year after suffering from a short illness, is now under the care of her mother who has no means of shouldering her children's school fees and feeding.

Yaya Jallow's mother is therefore soliciting help both financially and morally for the continuation of her son's education.

Speaking to the Point, the class teacher of Yaya Jallow, Mr. Darboe said any body who sponsors Yaya's schooling will not regret it, describing him as a hard working student.  Mr. Darboe said Yaya Jallow's academic performance in school is extremely good, adding that he got a pass in all his subjects during the school monthly test from September 2008 to May 2009.

He described Yaya Jallow as a quite, discipline and obedient student who always contribute in the class room. According to Mr. Darboe, a student like Yaya if assisted financially will no doubt have a bright future.
