One Muhammed Krubally was yesterday arraigned at the Kanifing Magistrates’ court charged with obtaining money by false pretence.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D20,000 with a Gambian surety.
According to the particulars of offence, in July 2011, in Serrekunda and diverse places in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused, Muhammed Krubally, by false pretence and with intent to defraud, obtained from Amadou Jallow, Ebrima Jallow and Mamadou Pateh Sowe D900, D750 and D500 and two double Sim mobile phones under the pretext that he was going to secure job for them, which representation was false and he knew to be false.
The case was adjourned till 12 January 2012.
