The National Sports Council (NSC) has invited all national sports associations, organizations and federations to a meeting to be held today at the Friendship Hotel conference hall, Independence Stadium, Bakau.
The two-hour meeting, according to a press release issued by the Council, is scheduled to start at 16:30pm.
The release signed by Mamadou Max Jallow, executive secretary of the NSC, also requested the presence of presidents and general secretaries of sports bodies at the meeting.
The meeting agenda will focus on the following:
Effective management and promotion of Gambian sports, relationship of national sports associations, federations, organizations with the NSC, new measures taken by the NSC to ensure collective objectives are achieved to develop Gambian sports, signing of memorandum of understanding with the NSC.
The cooperation and support of the association, federations and organizations to implement the National Sports Policy 2010 to 2019 will be highly appreciated, the release states.
