The National Inter-Departmental Sports Association (NISA) has announced 22 February 2010 as the dateline for the registration of the teams for the eight edition of the NISA Championship, scheduled to take place on 27 February 2010.
In an interview with Pointsport, the Secretary-General of the association, Saihou B Jarjue said the aim of the tournament is to bring mutual understanding among the workforce, noting that many companies have so far registered.
He disclosed that the association would this year start the tournament at the earliest possible time so as to avoid delay.
Jarjue explained that 24 teams are expected to participate in the tournament, which he added, would also witness the final of the female football tournament between the Gambia Immigration Department and the Armed Forces.
