A Nema-Kungku resident, Alieu Jabang was recently arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates' Court before Principal Magistrate Mahoney, charged with assault causing actual bodily harm.
According to the particulars of the offence, on 17th June 2009, at Nema-Kunku village, the accused Alieu Jabang willfully and unlawfully assaulted one Musa Jallow by hitting him with an iron bar, and thereby causing him actual bodily harm. He denied the charge.
Meanwhile, he was granted court bail in the sum of D25, 000, with a Gambian surety.
The case was adjourned to 6th July 2009.
