Ndofan FC on Sunday 10th October 2010 defeated Kerr Wally FC 4-2 in the Kebba Sarr Trophy sponsored by Kora Surr.
The game which was played at the Biri-Biri football field in Ndofan village, Lower Niumi District, North Bank Region saw Ebrima Drammeh open the scoring for Kerr Wally FC in the 13th minute.
Sheriff Sey doubled the lead for Kerr Wally FC in the 21st minute to give his side any hope of registering maximum points.
But two sensational strikes from Alieu Sarr and Modou Sarr, who netted the equalizer, means both sides had to settle for a 2-2 draw in the first period.
As action resumed in the second period of the game, Alieu Sarr gave Ndofan FC the advantage in the 45th minute of the game, to register his name twice on the score sheet, before Baboucarr Marong sealed the victory for Ndofan FC in the 59th minute of the game.
On the same day, at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium, Leeds United drew 0-0 with B.J. Academy.
The result has helped both sides to advance to the second round of the Serrekunda East Sports Development Organisation Nawetaan.
Leeds United made it to the second round after collecting seven points in five games, while B.J. Academy booked their place in the second round after collecting eight points in five encounters.
Elsewhere, on the same day, at the Old Jeshwang Primary School playing grounds, Old Hands FC defeated T. Junction FC by 2-1 in the ongoing Old Jeshwang Nawetaan tournament.
Babou Faye opened the scoring for T. Junction FC in the 35th minute of the game, but his goal was cancelled by Badara in the 54th minute of the game, from a sensational free-kick.
Ousman sealed the victory for Old Hands FC in the 79th minute of the game.
