The murder case involving former officers of National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDEA), Edrissa Jarju and Edrissa Jaiteh, was recently adjourned at the Special Criminal Court in Banjul.

The case, which was not called in court, was subsequently adjourned in the presence of both parties to 20th November 2012, for continuation.

The particulars of offence read that the accused persons, Edrissa Jarju and Edrissa Jaiteh, on 10 December 2011 at Manjai Kunda, with malice afterthought caused the death of one Alpha Omar Jobe, by subjecting him to brutal torture while in their custody.
