National coaches to be unveiled today

The Gambia Football Federation has announced that it will today, Monday 23rd March 2015 formally unveil the newly-appointed three national coaches.

The coaches are Peter Bornu Johnson (U-23/CHAN), Omar Ceesay (U-20), Matarr Alieu Mboge (U-17) and Alagi Marong (Goal Keeper Trainer) will be presented to the media at a ceremony to be held at the GFF secretariat in Kanifing at 12:00noon, a media release announced.

The unveiling will be followed by a media conference on the proposed international friendly between The Gambia and Mauritania slated for Friday March 27th at the Independence Stadium in Bakau, added the release.

The appointments of the coaches will become effective on 1st April 2015, on a probationary period of three months.

The new coaches will work under the direct supervision of the Technical Department and the Technical Development Committee of the GFF.

Their assignments, among others, will be the technical implementation of all technical programmes, not only limited to their said categories, but to all duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to them.
