NAS FC have maintained their superb run of form in the ongoing Gunjur Nawetan championship after beating Sebindinto FC 1-0 in a well-contested group A game played recently at the town`s biggest football arena calledGunjur Nyamina Football Field.
NAS FC’s only goal of the game was netted by midfielder Yusupha Sonko, alias Fayou, in the 5th minute of the game, which proved to be a winner for NAS FC as they snatched their second successive victory in the new season. They are also yet to concede a goal on the back of maximum 9 points in three games since the start of the new Nawetan.
United Brother FC have snatched their first victory in the Nawetan after defeating embattled Passamai FC in group B clash.
United Brothers FC need to beat Kulukochi United and QCell FC to stand a better chance of reaching the quarterfinal, while knockout champions Manchester United came from one-nil down to draw 1-1 with famous Solifo Investment FC in group C.
