Modou Lamin Nyassi, head coach of Brikama zonal
team, has said his target is to qualify for the quarterfinals and later fight
for the Super Nawetan title.
Coach Nyassi was speaking to reporters shortly after Brikama United’s 2-0 defeat to the Senegalese premier league side, Nyarri Tally, in a pre-season friendly played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium at the weekend.
The coach added that Brikama are well prepared for the Super Nawetan.
He said Brikama will begin the competition against Sukuta, on October 26.The Sukutarians will be coming all out into the game to avenge their 3-0 loss to the Sateyba boys in the group stage of the 2014 Super Nawetan.
Coach Nyassi explained that his team will try by all means to win the first game in order to fancy their hopes of qualifying for the quarterfinals.
He said they will do all it takes to beat Sukuta to snatch the vital three points.
