Mug Medal golf competition ends

One-day Monthly Mug Medal Golf competition organised by the Fajara Golf Club last Saturday ended at the Fajara Golf Course.

The competition featured 20 golfers who represented all those who have won a competition in the previous year.

Peter Millar was named the winner of the competition after finishing with 67 points, while David Costello occupied second with 68 points, and Steve Tiffany took third with 70 points.

The visitors' prize went to Rob Myrtle, while Elaine Calvert got the ladies prize.

Meanwhile, the Fajara Golf Club will organise Captains Day Golf Competition on Sunday 17th January 2010, at the Fajara Golf Course.

The prizes for the competition are as follows: prizes for 1st and 2nd U-18 handicappers, prizes for 1st and 2nd 18 above handicappers, overall beat golfer and runner-up, best performance on the day, best lady and runner- up, longest putt hole number 8, longest drive hole number 4, nearest pin hole number 5, 9 and 15, longest drive professional and caddy, best junior, visitor and senior, best bunker story, nicest Golfer, most annoying Golfer and most importantly 'Most Golf'.
