Secondary Schools in Busumbala, Kombo North, Western Region recently held their annual inter-house competition at their school ground.
Four houses took part in the championship, namely Red House, Yellow House, Green House and Blue House.
Speaking at the event, the school principal, Mr. Ague Isaac expressed appreciation to athletes for demonstrating a high sense of discipline during the championship.
He advised the students not to concentrate on sports, but to also read books, which he said, is one of the most important aspects of their activities.
Principal Isaac challenged the students to be Ambassadors of the school by practising good manners. According to him, the best students will receive a scholarship during their stay in school.
Yellow House clinched the title after securing 197 points, followed by Green House with 156 points, Red House came out 3rd position with 148 points, and Blue House occupied 4th position with 143 points, respectively.
The champions, Yellow House bagged D1, 000, Green House received D800 as runners-up, and Red House collected D600 as the 3rd place holder, while Blue House walked away with D400 bottom place.
