Alfusainey Korteh, a mobile traffic officer recently testified in an accident case involving one Ousman Barry, at the Brikama Magistrates' Court.
Adducing his evidence before Magistrate Effim, CPL 1248 Korteh told the court that on 3rd August 2009, he was in office when an accident was reported to their office, at the Brikama Health Centre junction.
He said he visited the scene and found out that both victims were rushed to the Brikama Heath Centre and later referred to the RVTH.
According to him, the accused was riding a motorbike, while the other victim was riding a bicycle. He added that he took both the bicycle and motorbike to the mobile unit for testing, after which he demanded a driving licence from the accused, but could not produce any.
The case was then adjourned to 3rd May 2010 for continuation.
