One Lamin Ceesay was Monday remanded in custody after
admitting to stealing mobile phones before the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court,
presided over by Magistrate Hilary Abeke.
According to the charge sheet read in court, the accused, Lamin Ceesay, on 1 May 2013, at Bakau, in the Kanifing Municipality, stole from the house of Nyambou Manneh, Sohna Sama, Nyima Sambou, Sulayman Bah and Meta Jamba, the following: Blackberry valued at D2,500, two Samsung phones each valued D1,100, two Nokia phones each valued at D1,000 and Sendo mobile phone valued at D1,200, being the property of the said people.
The case was then adjourned till 20 May 2013, for facts.
