Military Personnel Testifies

Sarjo Jallow, a military personnel, recently testified at the Brikama Magistrates' Court in the ongoing trial of Bai Baldeh who is charged with house breaking.

Testifying, Mr Jallow told the court that on 16th March 2009 when he was up early in the morning, he saw his brother's house open. He said he went inside and observed something suspicious, adding that he found a medical paper bearing the name of the accused person.

He further testified that one day he went to Kafuta where he spotted the accused and upon confronting him with the medical paper, the accused admitted owing the medical paper. He said thereupon the accused was arrested and taken to Brikama Police Station.
