Men in court for damaging property

Assan Dundeh and Assan Sanyang were recently arraigned before Magistrate Jallow of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with wilful damage to property.

Both denied the charge, and were each granted court bail of D5, 000 with a Gambian surety.

The charge sheet read that on 11 September 2011, at Serrekunda in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused person, Assan Dundeh and Assan Sanyang, damaged the windscreen of a vehicle valued at D2, 600.

Hearing continues on 29 September 2011.
