MegaBank on steady progress

MegaBank Gambia Limited is steadily living by its word, that it will remain a full service commercial bank focusing on her primary objective of delivering reliable and convenient banking services to the people and her valued customers.

Since the management of the renamed bank – from Keystone Bank to MegaBank – took charge of the affairs of the bank in June last year, MegaBank has been taking giant strides in meeting the needs of the banking public.

The bank’s Jeswang branch has just been relocated to Kanifing, Gamcel House, on Mamadi Maniyang Highway in an effort to remain a full service commercial bank out to meet customer needs and demands.

Also in July of last year, the bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Gambia Revenue Authority to provide the general public the convenience of paying taxes and duties through the bank.

This shows that its concern is the development of the country by making sure that tax collection becomes part of the bank’s mission towards their customers.This, as well, goes a long way to providing efficient service delivery through innovative financial solutions, while maintaining a return on investments.

“As a Gambian bank, our concern is the development of the country,” the bank’s acting MD has said, adding that they have a lot to do to support the “laudable progressive economic programmes” of President Yahya Jammeh.

Out to set the pace for optimal banking services in the country, MegaBank (Gambia) Limited is well placed now more than ever before in serving the Gambian public as well as in giving a strong helping hand to taking the economy and development of The Gambia to higher heights.

Considering the giant strides the management of the bank has taken in about six months in operation, it could be deduced that the strategy of MegaBank (Gambia) Limited is to work together and grow with its customers.

The bank is seemingly doing everything possible to ensure that its customers grow and develop in their business activities and personal savings and investments.

“MegaBank emphasizes on service as where you get good service, you can never forget that place and will always come back,” the bank’s MD said.

As its motto says: “Together we can do better!”,it is expected that with the cooperation of the general public, especially the banking public, MegaBank can continually do betterto meet the needs and aspirationsof the banking public and contribute massively to the socio-economic growth of the nation.
