Mariama Jallow wins Women 21km in Dakar Half Marathon

Gambia’s long distance runner Mariama T. Jallow on April 15 won the women 21km with a time of 1hr 32.10sec at a Dakar Half Marathon feat.

She was awarded the Women’s Cup.

Lamin Sanneh, who also participated in the event, came out 4th with a time of 1hr 14.26sec. Sanna Cham was ranked 10th.

The Gambia athletes returned home on Monday 16 April 2012, after completing the Dakar Half Marathon, which took place in the Dakar capital of Senegal on 15 April 2012.
