Marakissa to host international friendly

Marakissa Village in Kombo Central in the West Coast Region will host Genakey Village from the Senegalese province of Cassamance in an international friendly game this Saturday, 16 April 2011, at the Marakissa playground.

In an interview with Dawda Sarjo, press officer of Marakissa Youth and Sports Committee (MYSC), said Genakey town team will arrive in Marakissa for international friendly game this Friday,15 April 2011.

He says the international friendly game is meant to foster unity and understanding between two villages.

He further revealed that the international friendly game is expected to be graced by the Minister of Interior, Ousman Sonko, National Assembly for Kombo Central, Abdou Jarjue, and other important dignitaries.

He called on all natives of Marakissa to come out and watch the much talked about international friendly, adding that ticket for the international stand is D5.00.
