Manjai, Lamin clinch wins in Super Nawettan

Manjai and Lamin have snatched victories in the 2016 FiBank-sponsored Super Nawettan zonal football tournament after beating Serrekunda Central and Serrekunda West in their final group A fixtures played on Monday.

Manjai thumped whipping boys Serrekunda Central 2-0 at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.

Lamin defeated reigning champions Serrekunda West 2-1 at the Brikama Box Mini Stadium.

Elsewhere, Brikama drew goalless with BEM at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium on the same day.

Brikama are leading group A with 9 points in five games, BEM are second with 8 points in five games and Manjai are third with 7 points in five games.

Lamin are fourth with 6 points in five games, Serrekunda West are second place from bottom with 4 points in five games and whipping boys Serrekunda Central are languishing at the bottom with 2 points in five games.
