Manjai Kunda FC have now collected 4 points from two encounters while Madina Unfally are yet to collect a point in two games.
Speaking to reporters shortly after the game, Momodou Sireh Drammeh, head coach of Manjai Kunda, said they worked on the mistakes they had in their opening game of the competition, which earned them the victory.
They also advised their strikers during the break in question to focus on the second period of the game, he said, adding that their substitutes worked hard and helped them win the game.
He said they would go back and prepare harder for their next encounter because they will face their neighbours.
He added that their performance against Madina Unfally was good, especially in their counter attacks.
Abubacarr Jallow, head coach of Madina Unfally, in his comments, said they were unlucky, adding that as defending champions all teams are prepared for them.
They have a very slim chance of making it from the group stage, he noted, saying they will go for a win in their next game.
If they are able to qualify from the group stage, he said, they would win the trophy.
Football cannot go without finance, which is what they lack, he says.
