One Abdul Malick Yaffa was recently arraigned before Magistrate Edward Singhateh of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with forgery.
According to the particulars of offence, on 12 May 2011 at the Banjul International Airport, the accused person produced to the profiling officers a Gambian passport No PC 292322 with a Class Portuguese visa, which he allegedly forged to be B Class visa No 003077377.
The accused person denied the charge, and was granted court bail of D15,000 with two Gambian sureties.
The case at that juncture was adjourned to 26 May 2011.
