One Omar Jallow, a resident of Bundung, is currently standing trial before magistrate Lamin George of the Bundung Magistrates' Court for allegedly obtaining money by false pretence.
According to the particulars of the offence, on 25th day of May 2009 at Bakoteh the accused by false pretence obtained an amount of D10, 000 from one Muhammed Drammeh.
However, the accused person pleaded not guilty and was subsequently granted court bail in the sum of D20, 000 with one Gambian surety.
The case was adjourned to 18th January 2010 for hearing.
