A man called Foday Jaiteh was recently arraigned before Magistrate Bojang of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with criminal trespass and willful damage to property.
The charge sheet on count one stated that the accused, Foday Jaiteh, on 28 March 2015 at Sanchaba in the Kanifing Municipality, without authority entered the house of one Yusupha Cham with intent to intimidate, insult and annoy him.
Count two read that on the same date and place, he willfully and unlawfully damaged the rear and side glass of a Pajero vehicle with registration number BJL 5377J valued at D9,500, the property of the said Yusupha Cham.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D20,000 with a Gambian surety, who must deposit an ID card.
The case was adjourned to 15 April 2015.
