Man docked for idle and disorderly conduct

A man was recently arraigned before Magistrate Abeke of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with idle and disorderly conduct.

Muhammed Gando denied the charge and was granted court bail of D30 with two Gambian sureties.

The alleged offence read that on 25 June 2011, at Yarambamba Layout, in Kombo North District, West Coast Region, the accused, Muhammed Gando, behaved himself in a manner likely to cause breach of the peace, by taking out his private part and calling one girl,Sarjo Beyai ,to come and answer to him.

Meanwhile, the accused, Muhammed Gando, told the court that he was urinating when the complainant passed in front of him and accused him of the offence he was charged with.
