One Abdoulie Manjang was recently arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court charged with rash and negligent act, causing death.
The particulars of offence stated that the defendant, Abdoulie Manjang, on 13 December 2012, at New Yundun village, in the West Coast Region, drove a motor vehicle with registration number BJL 9282H Land Rover and knocked one Jarra Demba, thereby causing her death.
He admitted to the charge and was remanded in custody until 2 January 2013, for the facts to be read.
