Man charged with rape, indecent assault

Basiru Camara, a resident of Ebow Town, was Monday arraigned at the Special Criminal Court in Banjul, charged with rape and indecent assault.

According to the particulars of offence on count one, in April 2010, at Ebow Town, the accused, Basiru Camara, allegedly had carnal knowledge of an underage girl and thereby committed an offence.

Count two stated that in April 2010, at Ebow Town, Camara allegedly exposed an underage girl to pornography video and further asked her to suck his private part.

The case at that juncture was adjourned till 6 November 2010.
