One Gibril Jawo of Mandinaba village recently appeared before Principal Magistrate Mahoney of the Brikama Magistrates' Court charged with stealing by agent.
According to the particulars of the offence, some time in the month of February 2009 at Mandina Ba, the accused Gibril Jawo being an employee of Michel David Gould stole the sum of D68,000, being the property of the said Michel David Gould.
When the charge was read to him he pleaded not guilty.
Meanwhile, he was granted court bail in the sum of D70, 000.00 with one Gambian surety.
The case was adjourned to 28th July 2009.
