A man called Alieu Manneh was recently arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with being in possession of prohibited drug.
According to the particulars of offence, on 5 June 2012, at Atlantic Beach in Banjul, the accused, Alieu Manneh, was found in possession of 350grams of cannabis sativa, a prohibited drug.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D300,000 with two Gambian sureties who must have landed property within the jurisdiction of Brikama.
The case was adjourned till 1 December 2012.
