He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D125,000 with a Gambian surety, who must deposit an ID card.
The case was adjourned to 11 February 2015.

One Alieu Ceesay was recently arraigned before
Magistrate Gomez of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with stealing.The charge sheet read in court stated that some
time in December 2013 and 2014, at Kololi in the Kanifing Municipality, he
fraudulently converted the sum of D65,000 being monies given to him by one
George Diamacoune to pay for capital gains tax, open an account for Abbie Joof
and to also lease a compound.
