A man
called Modou Jallow was recently arraigned before Magistrate Jobarteh of the
Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with stealing.
The police prosecutors accused Modou Jallow, that on 20 September 2014 at Kanifing in the Kanifing Municipality, he stole from one Jamil Musa electrical wires valued at D250,000 being the property of Musa.
Jallow denied the charge, and was granted court bail of D25,000 with two Gambian sureties who must swear to an affidavit of means and deposit their ID cards.
The case was adjourned to 30 December 2014, for hearing.
