Guinéens en Gambie, on Saturday started its 2012 football tournament with a
clash between Mali Bandeya FC and Teddugal FC played at the Serrekunda West
Mini Stadium at 15:00hrs to a one-all draw.
This was followed by an encounter between Mali Yembering and Wendou Feto FC, played at 17:00hrs. Both teams went home goalless at the end of the match.
Furthermore Kindia FC defeated Bantigel FC 2-0 after taking them at a game played at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium on Sunday at 15:00 GMT.
Abdourahman Jallow opened the score for Kindia FC at the 36th minute of the game from a long free kick.
Abdoulie Mboye netted the second goal for Kindia at the 51st minute of the game, thereby securing his team’s victory over their opponents.
In another clash, Golden Boys took on Popodara FC at 17:00hrs in a game played on Sunday at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium to a goalless result.
