Makasutu under the guardian of coach pro-Samuel Mendy started training last month and will use the sessions to prepare themselves well and fit for the upcoming GFA division one female league expected to get underway later this year.
The team will also embark on series of test games with other teams in the country’s women’stop flight league, as well as play other matches, in order to strengthen themselves as well as keep their dreams of clinching their first-ever league title.
The Makasutu female team coaching staff said they have invited several new players for training, adding that no player has a permanent place in the team and selection is based on the performance of players during the training session.
The coaching staff are optimistic their team will produce positive result this season after a dismal campaign last season.
