Lotto signs over D400,000 deal with Brufut Football

The West African Lotto Company, Lotto, on Sunday signed a sponsorship deal with the Brufut Youth and Sports Development Committee, BYSDC, totalling D406,750. The money will be spent in funding the annual activities of the Brufut United Team such as in the third division championship; the zone’s Super Nawettan campaign; the local Nawettan and knock-out championship.

Unveiling the deal in front of Brufut youths and elders, Mamadi Ceesay the sales and marketing director of Lotto, said he was pleased to have finally found a serious partner for the grand plan of football sponsorship Lotto envisaged for Gambian football.

“Thisis not a one off deal that goes after the event, but a long lasting plan that is targeting the overall development of football in Brufut as azone, ranging from playersand infrastructural developmentto marketing of Brufut football products.”

In response, the Alkalo MalaminManneh and VDC official Ba Jamba Bojang alongside BYSDC president Ba Jabbie all thanked Mr Ceesay and Lotto for “the uniqueand pleasant surprise they present to the people of Brufut”, and urged the youths to play their role in maintaining and flourishing this special partnership.

The occasion was also witnessed by players, technicians and fans of Brufut football, some of whom expressed profound gratitude to Mr Ceesay and Lotto.

The sponsorship starts with the soon-to-start Third Division championship campaign of Brufut United.
