Week-one of the KM 3rd division regional league witnessed some interesting games in midweek with London Corner United, Latrikunda United, Latfa FC, Samger B FC, BK West and Falcons FC registering wins over their opponents.
Games played on Tuesday saw London Corner United defeat Flamemins by a goal to nil thanks to Lamin Jammeh’s 8th minute strike; Latrikunda United beat Real De Dippakunda by a loan goal to nil with Tumani Colley scoring the only goal of the game in the 12th minute.
Meanwhile, Football Heroes played out a goalless draw against London Boys.
The last game on Tuesday was played between Latfa and Manjai United with Latfa winning by 2 goals to 1.
Samger B FC on Wednesday overcame Newtown United by a goal to nil courtesy of Musa Touray’s 52nd minute goal.
BK West FC on the same day defeated Dagudaan FC by the same score-line courtesy of Abdou Foon’s strike in the 1st minute of the game.
The final game of the day saw Guigi FC lose to Falcons FC by 2-0.
