Arola FC, Barcelona FC, Medina FC, Kunkujang FC, Mbollet-Ba FC, Chamen FC and Kerr Mbugma FC are vying for the Ndofan U-15 Nawettan Championship which got underway on Monday 2nd August 2010, at the Ndofan football field in Lower Niumi District in North Bank Region (NBR).
In the opening game of the tournament, on Monday 2nd August 2010, Mbollet-Ba FC defeated Chamen FC by 2-1 at the Ndofan playing ground.
Kebba Drammeh scored both goals for Mbollet-Ba FC in the 31st and 42nd minutes, while Chamen FC consolation was scored by Edwan Bojang in the 16th minute of the game.
On Tuesday 3rd August 2010, Barcelona FC played a goalless drew with Arola FC in the other fixtures of the championship.
Jamesen FC on Wednesday 4th August 2010 registered their first win by a goal to nil against Hagan United in the ongoing Banjul Nawetaan Championship held at the Gambia Senior Secondary School field in the 5pm encounter.
Jamesen FC who drew their first two games in the 78 minutes of play by Captain Matarr Nyang to his side the lead. Now Jamesen FC register five points and ahead of Hagan United with three points in three games, respectively.
As the Nawettan kicked-off in several Gambia Football Association, GFA's recognised major Nawettan centres in the country, Lamin Youth and Sports Association (LYSA) will stage their super cup final, scheduled for Sunday 8th August 2010.
The curtain-raiser will feature the last year's league champions Jatta's FC and the knock-out winners KGH Sports Academy FC, at the Late Sanna Jatta Memorial Football ground in Lamin at 4.30PM.
Musa Sowe was the man on target for Ball Conge FC after scoring a hat-trick for his side in their 6-0 win over London United on Wednesday 4th August 2010 in the Serrekunda East Sports Development Organisation Nawettan Championship at its Mini-stadium.
Musa Bala as he is widely called registered his goals in the 29th, 57th and 61st minutes of the game, while the other goals were netted by Modou Njie, Laity Secka and Ousman Touray in the 3rd, 25th and 50th minutes of the game, respectively to make it 6-0 for Ball Conge FC.
