World Stars FC will battle with Queen Park Rangers FC in the late Pa Jobe Memorial football tournament final after winning their semifinal ties at the Stamford Bridge Football Field in Gunjur, Kanilai.

The palace boys beat Jujuba United 2-1 in the semifinal to advance to the final.

World Stars booked their ticket to the final for the second time in a row following their 2-0 win over Athletico De Madina in the semifinal.

Ba-Alieu Kunta and Ebrima Barrow were on target for World Stars.

The tournament is organised by Yaya Peace Sowe to nurture, groom and promote young talents in Gunjur and satellite areas.

It would be recalled that World Stars beat Famalang to clinch the trophy last season and are hoping to beat Queen Park Rangers to retain the crown.
