Late Hon. Kebbba Touray Inter-village Tourney update

The Late Hon. Kebba Touray Inter-Village Football Tournament meant to promote and develop grassroots football in Kombo East district continues to produce some exciting and fascinating encounters over the weekend.

The exciting tourney saw Bonto Village defeat Shom Village 1-0 in group A encounter at the Kafuta playground on Saturday.

Another scintillating encounter was Kafuta and Kuloro, which ended 2-1 to the delight of Kafuta at the Faraba Banta playground on Sunday.

Matches continue this weekend when Bonto meet Kafuta on Saturday in group C at the Pirang playground.

Elsewhere, on Sunday 15 May 2011, Shom Village will rub shoulders with Kuloro Village in group B at the Faraba Banta playground.

The tournament, organised in memory of the late National Assembly member for Kombo East Lamin Bojang, is organised by Kombo East District Sports Committee.
