The
sixth edition of the late CA Jagne Memorial Draughts Competition is slated for
tomorrow, 23 March 2012, at the July 22nd Vous in
The competition will start with prayers and welcome remarks by the president of the Gambia Draughts Federation to be followed by the first round of the events.
Saturday 24 March 2012 will mark the beginning of the second round, which will be followed by a knockout stage phase of the competition.
Sunday 25 March 2012 will also witness the semifinal and final of the competition to be followed by the presentation of cash prizes and certificates to the winners.
The competition is organised by Gambia Draughts Federation (GDF) and the championship is expected to be sponsored by the Gambia Horticultural Enterprise and the Jagne family.
