Lamin United on Monday lost to Young Africans 2-1 in the week-ten fixtures played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium to remain bottom-place in the 2015-2016 Gambia Football Federation’s second division league.

The Lamin-based outfit, who are still languishing bottom-place in the second tier, beat Young Africans to snatch the vital three points to move away from the danger zone but were unenthusiastic to secure a victory; instead they slipped to the Banjul-based outfit 2-1 to remain bottom-place in the second division with a single point in ten leagues.

Young Africans are mid-table with 11 points in ten games after a miserable start to the second division league campaign.

Immigration beat relegated side Bakau United 1-0 at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium to improve their position in the second tier following their poor start to the league campaign.

Blue Star defeated relegated side Interior 2-1 at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium to fancy their chances of gaining promotion to the top flight next season.

Marimoo drew 1-1 with Tallinding United at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda, while BK Milan drew 2-2 with Lions of Banjul at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium on the same day.
