The Brikama Magistrates' Court presided over by Principal Magistrate Basiru Mahoney recently heard a case of criminal trespass and threatening violence brought against one Ebrima Camara.
Testifying, one Fatou Gaye, told the court that on the 26th April 2009 she was sitting in their compound with her husband, Faburama Bojang, when she saw the accused with a cutlass coming towards them. She said the accused was using abusive language on her while also threatening to kill her.
She further told the court that her husband asked the accused to leave the compound which, according to her, the accused did. She went on to inform the court that she later reported the matter to Old Yundum Police Station where she gave her statement.
