Fatou Joof, a native of Brufut village in Kombo North in the West Coast Region, is seeking assistance for overseas treatment on Lung Fibrosis.
According to her medical report issued by the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital on 29 July 2011, Joof is struggling with a Lung Fibrosis, a disease that is giving her some tough moments with sleepless nights and “cannot be treated in The Gambia”.
She is said to have been suffering from the Lung Fibrosis for more than three years, which has prompted her to seek assistance from the government, the private sector, philanthropists, donors, NGOs, companies and individuals to enable her undergo overseas treatment.
