A lady was recently arraigned before Magistrate Ngube of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court, charged with stealing.
Kumba Camara, a Sierra-Leonean national, pleaded not guilty and was granted court bail of D4,000 with a Gambian surety.
According to the charge sheet, on18 April 2011, in Dippa-kunda, in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused, Kumba Camara, stole from the dwelling house of one Tida Sanyang the following: physical cash of D1,000 from a suitcase and one double Sim card mobile phone marked Samsung valued at D2,000, being the property of the said Tida Sanyang.
Hearing of the case was adjourned till 2 May 2011.
