Kids with Talents Radio Station (KWT) yesterday, Sunday 7th March 2010 celebrated the International Children Day of Broadcasting (ICBD).
Speaking in an interview with this paper yesterday, Sara Camara, the Studio Manager of the radio station, who doubles as the Sports Editor said this year's theme is "All rights, all children." He noted that the radio station opened its airwaves for children to share their talents with the public.
He stated that the event was solely sponsored by Trust Bank Gambia Limited, adding that all the necessary preparations was done by the radio to make sure that children display their talents. He stated that this gave children the opportunity to share their views with their fellow children and parents during the programme.
Mr. Camara pointed out that schools like Glory Baptist, Gola Fortunate and the KWT Bantaba team, were in charge of the airwaves at the radio station from 9am-6pm.
On behalf of the management of KWT, he commended Trust Bank for the support.
