Kujabi's FSV Frankfurt ready for big weekend clash

Injury threatened Gambia International Pa Saikou Kujabi's side FSV Frankfurt, who are languishing at the bottom of the German Division Two Bundesliga is set to take on mid-table occupants Alemannia Aachen on Sunday, at the Frankfurter Volksbank Stadion.

In twenty matches  FSV Frankfurt which is yet to put up an impressive performance in the Second Division tier still remains at the relegation  zone with 16 points after four wins and draws, and  as heavy as 12 defeats. They are currently at 17 position four points ahead of bottom place Ahlen and 27 behind leaders Kaiserslautern.

 Pa Saikou Kujabi, who has succeeded in scoring 2 goals and picking six yellows in 16 appearances so far for his side, have a great task of making it among the top three to gain promotion to the upper league.

With fourteen matches to go, the team is yet to recover from a major injury blow of notably Striker Sascha Molders. The 24-year-old striker pulled himself on his debut in FSV-shirt in Paderborn (2:0) breaking the second metatarsal. This led to an examination by team doctor Wolfgang Raussen. Sascha Molders failure is very bitter for us and for him personally.

"He has now adapted well to the team and played an important role in the deliberations," said Uwe Stöver, Sports Director of the FSV Frankfurt.

Alemannia Aachen, in the early part of the season was ranked fourth, but like its opponents the team was hit by large injury woes.  Top players like Florian Mueller and Manuel Junglas are faced with a cruciate ligament, Timo Achenbach moved into a tear of the right Outdoor Banner in the knee, among others.
