The 2009 Modou Gaye Football Tournament organised by Kotu Youth Association and sponsored by the Deputy Inspector General of Police Modou Gaye has entered its week three at Kotu playing ground.

Lamin Touray scored Manjai Sanchaba FC's both goals in the 23rd and 35th and Lamin Conteh scored their winning goal in the 62nd minute, while Yamadou Darboe scored for Take Up United in the 10th and 35th minutes respectively.
On the same day, Dippakunda defeated Obama FC 2-1, Louis Prirra and Ba Jallow scored for Dippakunda in the 59th and 70th minutes of the game respectively, while Ebou Bahoum scored Obama FC's consolation goal in the 80th minute of the game.

Adama Cham opened the scores in the 17th minute and Mam Saitou Bah sealed the victory in the 60th minute. Though Badala fought back and created lots of scoring chances, they failed to carry the day.
