Kongi BI FC will clash with Iceland FC in the Sambuyaa

Noran Football Tournament after winning their semi-final ties at the Sambuyaa football Field at the weekend.

Kongi BI FC sailed to the final after their slender 1-0 victory over Benghazi FC in the first semi-final game played at the Sambuyaa Football Field on Saturday.

Iceland FC progressed to the final following their 7-6 post-match penalty shootout win over Daru Salaam FC, after a goalless draw in the regulation time in the second semi-final game played on Sunday.

The tournament is meant to promote and develop football in the area as well as scouting good players that will represent Sambuyaa in the 2013-2014 Gunjur Nawettan qualifiers later this year.

The date for the final will be announced later.
